How to Play

Each round, one player becomes the storyteller. They pick one card from their hand and give a clue about it. The clue can be:
- A single word (e.g., "mystery")
- A phrase (e.g., "The calm before the storm")
- A sound (e.g., "whoosh!")
- Anything else descriptive (e.g., "That feeling when you're lost in a dream")
The clue should be vague but not impossible.

Everyone else picks a card from their hand that they think matches the storyteller's clue and submits it face down.

The submitted cards, including the storyteller's, are shuffled and displayed face-up for all players.

All players (except the storyteller) secretly vote on which card they think belongs to the storyteller using their voting tokens.
Best Practices for Clues
Here are some tips for crafting great clues:
- Don't make it too obvious! Bad example: If the card has a sun, don't say "sun".
- Don't make it impossible! Bad example: If the card is a sun, don't say "banana".
- Find a balance. Good example: For a card with a sun, you could say "A new beginning" or "Golden hour".
- Feel free to get creative! Use emotions, sounds, quotes, or cultural references to throw people off just the right amount.
Scoring
- If everyone or no one guesses the storyteller's card, the storyteller gets 0 points.
- If some players guess correctly (but not all), the storyteller gets 1 point for each vote, and each correct guesser also gets 1 point.
- Players whose cards are guessed by others (but aren't the storyteller's) get 1 point per vote on their card.
Note: Scoring rules are configurable by the game owner and may vary depending on the game settings.
Winning the Game
Play as many rounds as you'd like! The player with the most points at the end of the game is crowned the champion of Imaginaria. Bragging rights included.
